About the Just In Time Fund
The Just In Time Fund provides limited emergency financial support to high school graduates who have participated in a Center for College Access and Success program (GEAR UP, 21st CCLC, Talent Search, Upward Bound Math & Science) and are enrolled in college but unable to meet essential expenses due to a temporary or unexpected hardship.
The Fund Will Be Used For The Following:

Temporary food insecurity

Books and other essential academic expenses

Safety-related needs (i.e. changing a lock)
-
Replacement of essential personal belongings due to fire, theft or natural disaster
-
Expenses related to a death or illness in the immediate family
-
Outstanding debt to the University
-
Tuition, fees, health insurance
-
Travel to college campus
-
Other requests as determined by the Just In Time Committee
Awards are not considered loans and do not require repayment. Funds distributed can range from $100 - $1,000 and is a one-time award.

Must be currently enrolled and attending college the semester in which the funds are being requested.

Must be able to demonstrate an urgent financial need (supporting documentation upon request)
